Projects funded to put technology at the service of health

Three professors are receiving significant financial support from the Collaborative Health Research Projects Program.

Proposals submitted by Professors Daniel Côté, Philippe Després and François Laviolette from the Faculty of Science and Engineering are among the 29 cutting-edge research projects across the country in which the Government of Canada will invest close to $ 25 million. The Honorable Mélanie Joly, Minister of Tourism, Official Languages and the Francophonie, made the announcement on Friday, August 9, on behalf of the Honorable Ginette Petitpas Taylor, Minister of Health. Proposals selected by the Collaborative Health Research Projects (CHRP) program aim to leverage the latest technology to improve disease diagnosis, treatment and quality of life for patients.
